Our small-group puppy training is a great way for you to build a bond with your dog. You and your best friend will get off to a great start, or continue to build your bond, in one of our many dog training classes.
We Solve Dog Behavior Problems with our full range of private dog and puppy training programs as well as group classes in and around Waltham, MA
We offer Puppy training classes, Advanced puppy training, Canine Good Citizen and Agility. We also offer one-on-one training for a more personalized approach, and to deal with special canine behaviors.
Puppies receive expert training where they’ll learn to socialize with people, other puppies and other dogs of all sizes. They’ll learn basic commands including sit, down, stay and come as well as walking comfortably on a leash. In addition, this class provides solutions to problem behaviors that are common during the puppy stage.
Our advanced puppy training is designed for puppies six months to a year old. Your puppy will work on reinforcement of the basic commands. In addition, your puppy will work on greeting others and how to handle distractions. We will also answer questions about other issues that may be unique to your dog.
The Canine Good Citizen class teaches good manners to dogs and responsible dog ownership to their owners. The CGC 10-step test is a non-competitive test for all dogs, including purebreds and mixed breeds. The CGC award is a prerequisite for many therapy dog groups. Some homeowner’s insurance companies are encouraging CGC testing, and an increasing number of apartments and condos require that resident dogs pass the CGC test.
For the owner that prefers personal attention one on one training would be the perfect fit. Our trainer will work with you on a program that will suit both you and your dog’s needs. This can start from basic training on up to advanced training. They’ll also work with you on any specific behavioral issues your dog may have.
Agility classes are a fun way for you to bond with your dog. As your pets’ handler, you’ll work to direct your dog around a timed obstacle course. Agility training can be fun for dogs of all ages and breeds. Once you start to master the skills you might find it fun to compete.
